Types of violations

VOCORD Traffic detects over 15 types of traffic violations on all types of roads. Traffic violation detection is included in basis functionality. It does not require to purchase an additional license.

Speeding: instantaneous and on a road section with a possibility to determine speed limits for each lane

Violations at crossroads: running a red light, crossing the stop line, prohibited turn / U-turn, turn from a prohibited lane, stopping on a pedestrian crossing, prohibited manoevres

Violations at railroad crossings: crossing with gates closed or closing, disobeying a traffic light, stopping or parking on a railroad crossing, parking closer than 50 m from a railroad crossing

Low maintenance costs

The system is not detected by antiradar

The VOCORD Traffic system uses a software-based (optical) method of measuring speed, along with radars. The method is based on precision time measurement of every shot. A system like this is not detected by antiradars, requires less equipment and is easier to maintain.

The broadest functionality among traffic enforcement systems

VOCORD Traffic does not only detect the largest number of traffic violations (over 15), but also solves other tasks: statistical, analytical and related to criminal investigation. The system is integrated with the automated data system of the Police data center, allows to carry out exchange with any databases (of criminal identification, court enforcement officers, etc.) and search in them, can be integrated with automated traffic control systems and WIM-systems, and employs all existent methods of speed determination: radar, optical and average speed measurement method.

Easy to install and maintain

The system is supplied as two devices: single-block photo fixation complex VOCORD Cyclops and a street server, inbuilt in a switchboard cabinet. There is minimal number of commutations between the devices. Installation of equipment at a check point generally takes 1-2 hours. The installation does not require any special constructions – the system is installed on the side of a road on the existent columns or masts of street lighting.
